Ukraine is one step ahead once again. In 2026, the country will become the first in Europe to launch full-fledged mobile internet via Starlink. This was confirmed by Kyivstar CEO Oleksandr Komarov in a comment to Reuters.
- By the end of 2025, subscribers will gain access to OTT messaging — such as WhatsApp, Signal, and other apps.
- And by mid-2026, the company plans to roll out satellite mobile internet and voice communication using Starlink’s Direct to Cell technology.
